Traffic Rules Awareness at Jat College Kaithal

Road Safety Campaign in Progress

Kaithal, September 19 – Under the guidance of SP Aastha Modi, the traffic police have been continuously running awareness campaigns on road safety. As part of this initiative, a special awareness program was organized at Jat College, Kaithal by DSP Traffic Sushil Prakash and Traffic SHO Inspector Naresh Kumar, along with their team.

The event was attended by College Principal Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Puneet Jangra from Ashok Leyland Driving School, Garhi Padla, Inspector Rajbir Sangwan, college staff, and students.

Importance of Discipline on Roads

Addressing the students, DSP Traffic Sushil Prakash emphasized that following discipline and traffic rules on the road is the responsibility of every citizen. He highlighted key safety measures such as:

  • Mandatory use of helmets and seat belts
  • Avoiding overspeeding
  • Not driving under the influence of alcohol
  • Avoiding the use of mobile phones while driving

He stressed that even a small act of negligence can lead to major accidents, and hence every individual must take road safety as a personal responsibility.

Duties of Every Road User

Adding to this, Traffic SHO Inspector Naresh Kumar reminded students that every road user has duties. Whether a pedestrian, cyclist, two-wheeler rider, or four-wheeler driver, each must follow safety rules and remain vigilant to prevent accidents.
