Drug Peddler Arrested with 7.71g Heroin in Pundri

Kaithal, September 27 – Haryana State Narcotics Control Bureau (HSNCB) Karnal unit arrested a drug peddler from the Pundri area with 7.71 grams of heroin (chitta).

According to a police spokesperson, the HSNCB team led by ASI Narendra Kumar was patrolling in the Fatehpur area when they received a tip-off.


Secret Information Leads to Arrest

The informer revealed that a man named Gaurav alias Vicky, a resident of Fatehpur, was involved in selling heroin. He was reportedly waiting near the government school at Balmiki Basti, Fatehpur, on Matarwakhedi Road to sell the contraband.

Acting on this information, the police conducted a raid and apprehended the suspect on the spot.


Heroin Seized in Presence of Magistrate

During the search conducted in the presence of Naib Tehsildar Pundri, Anshul, the police recovered 7.71 grams of heroin from a plastic pouch in the possession of the accused.


Case Registered and Accused in Custody

A case has been registered against the accused at Pundri police station. The investigation is being led by ASI Randhir Singh, who arrested the accused on the spot. The suspect will be presented in court on Saturday for further interrogation.
