Poster Making Competition Highlights Cleanliness

Under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan(Swachhata Drive), DAV College Cheeka organized a series of events to spread the message of cleanliness. The program began with a poster making competition, where students showcased creative posters and slogans highlighting the importance of hygiene and a clean environment.

Swachhata Pledge Taken by Students

Following this, a Swachhata pledge was administered to all participants. Students and faculty members pledged to adopt cleanliness in their daily lives and to inspire others to follow the same.

Tree Plantation for Green and Healthy Environment

The event continued with a tree plantation drive in the college premises. Both students and teachers participated enthusiastically, emphasizing that greenery is the foundation of a clean and healthy environment.

Cleanliness Drive in the Campus

As part of the cleanliness drive, students themselves cleaned the college premises. They set an example by showing that cleanliness is not just the responsibility of sanitation workers but of every citizen in society.

Awareness Rally to Spread the Message

The program concluded with an awareness rally, where students raised slogans and displayed banners to encourage local citizens to maintain hygiene and support the Swachh Bharat initiative.

Principal’s Message on Cleanliness

On this occasion, Principal Dr. Jasbir Singh addressed the gathering, stating, “Cleanliness is not just a campaign, but a way of life. If we adopt it in our lifestyle, we can build a healthy, clean, and beautiful society.”

NCC Unit Leads the Initiative

The entire program was successfully conducted under the leadership of the NCC unit of the college. NCC Officer Dr. Jasvinder Singh guided and supported the students, who showcased discipline and dedication in making the campaign impactful.
