MP Naveen Jindal contributes ₹11 lakh; 100×50 ft shed to enhance temple facilities
Land Worship Ceremony Marks the Beginning
Guhla-Cheeka: Construction of a grand shed has begun at the ancient Shri Bhawani Mandir Cheeka to provide comfort to devotees during religious events and protect them from heat and rain.
The work commenced on Tuesday with a traditional land worship ceremony (Bhoomi Pujan) led by SD Sabha President Rajeev Sharma.
MP Naveen Jindal Donates ₹11 Lakh
Rajeev Sharma informed that Lok Sabha MP Naveen Jindal has contributed ₹11 lakh to the temple committee for this noble cause.
The upcoming 100-foot-long and 50-foot-wide shed will be constructed with the MP’s support. The new structure will not only enhance the temple’s beauty but also provide shelter to devotees during special ceremonies and unfavorable weather conditions.
Community Leaders Participate in Ceremony
The Bhoomi Pujan ceremony was attended by several prominent personalities including Adarsh Natak Club President Balbir Saini, Shri Bhawani Seva Samiti President Kuldeep Majra, Chairman Moti Ram Garg, Treasurer Krishan Dhiman, Ganesh Dutt Shastri, Vaidya Satyanarayan, Ravi Dutt Sharma, Balwant Sida, Shiv Kumar (Minu Thekedar), Balwinder Singh, Jasbir Poonia, and Ram Mehar Kaushik, among others.
