CIA-1 Police Arrest Two Within Days of the Incident
Kaithal, October 16 — Acting swiftly, the CIA-1 police have arrested two accused in a case involving assault and robbery of a migrant worker in the Cheeka area. According to the police spokesperson, the arrests were made after a prompt investigation following SP Upasana’s directions.
The Incident: Robbery Near Cheeka’s Parshuram Chowk
As per the complaint filed by Rajkumar, a resident of village Ranginia, District Saharsa (Bihar), he was staying at Blue Diamond Hotel, Cheeka. On the evening of October 13, Rajkumar was returning home after receiving ₹3,000 for his labor work. He stood near Parshuram Chowk, looking for a lift when two men on a motorcycle stopped to offer him a ride.
After traveling a short distance, the bikers diverted the vehicle toward Jagdish Market, pretending to take a restroom break. Suddenly, one of the men strangled him with a towel while the other slapped him and snatched his cash and mobile phone. They pushed him to the ground and fled the scene on their bike.

Investigation and Arrest by CIA-1 Police Kaithal
Following the complaint, an FIR was registered at Cheeka Police Station. SP Upasana immediately directed the CIA-1 team to identify and arrest the culprits. Acting on the orders, the team led by SI Jaswant Singh and ASI Raghubir Singh apprehended Gurvinder Singh of village Tyontha and Jeevan of Cheeka.
Both accused were produced in court, which granted two days of police remand for further interrogation. Police officials stated that more details may emerge during questioning, possibly revealing additional accomplices or previous criminal activities.
