Kaithal News St. John Ambulance India Conducts Life-Saving Training for 490 Students in Kharaudi

Kaithal, โ€” Highlighting the growing number of road accidents and natural disasters, Dr. Rajpal Punia, National President of St. John Ambulance International Association India, emphasized the importance of first aid and life-saving training for every individual.

He said that providing first aid education to every member of society is a moral responsibility of the association. โ€œProper first aid knowledge can turn a moment of tragedy into hope by saving lives before reaching the hospital,โ€ Dr. Rajpal Punia added.


490 Students and 22 Teachers Receive Life-Saving Training

As part of the organizationโ€™s public welfare initiative, the Kaithal district branch of St. John Ambulance conducted a free life-saving training program at Sainik Public School, Kharaudi.

The session was led by Dr. Raja Singh Jhinjar, Secretary and Master Trainer, who provided comprehensive training to 490 students and 22 staff members.

Dr. Jhinjar explained that the person present at the accident site is often the first rescuer, and with the right first aid skills, can save a valuable life before medical help arrives.


Comprehensive First Aid and CPR Demonstration

The training covered a range of essential life-saving topics, including:

  • Fracture treatment and bleeding control
  • Electric shock and poisoning response
  • Fainting, trauma, and heart attack management
  • CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) demonstration

Dr. Jhinjar stressed that every second counts for an injured or unconscious victim. โ€œWe must always be ready to help the needy and fulfill our social responsibility,โ€ he said.


Principals Praise the Initiative

Principals Manju and Rajesh Sharma of Sainik Public School appreciated Dr. Jhinjarโ€™s efforts, calling such training programs โ€œa rare and valuable opportunityโ€ that prepares individuals not just to protect themselves, but also to save others.

During the session, students actively participated by asking questions and clearing doubts related to emergency response techniques.


Training Builds Awareness and Responsibility

The event concluded with heartfelt thanks from the school management to St. John Ambulance International Association for conducting such a socially beneficial program.

Teachers including Amarjeet Thapa, Sanjeev Kumar, Pradeep Kumar, Bhim Singh, Rita Rani, Shweta, Ramandeep, Mamta, Kumkum, Kamlesh Rani, Saifali, Parveen Rani, Simran Kaur, and Ninder Kaur were present during the session.
