CPR Training Kaithal Can Save Lives When the Heart and Breathing Stop: Dr. Jhinjar

St. John Ambulance Kaithal Branch Conducts Free First Aid Training in Titaram

Kaithal, November 7 โ€” โ€œCPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) is a life-saving process that can revive an unconscious person whose heart and breathing have stopped,โ€ said Dr. Raja Singh Jhinjar, Master Trainer and Gold Medalist of St. John Ambulance International Association India.
He was addressing hundreds of students and teachers during a free first aid and CPR training session organized at Aryavart Shiksha Niketan School, Titaram village.

First Aid Training Builds a Safer and More Aware Society

Dr. Jhinjar highlighted that first aid is an invaluable life-saving skill, essential for creating a safe and responsible society.
He emphasized, โ€œWhen breathing and heartbeat stop, only CPR can bring life back.โ€

Under the guidance of National President Dr. Rajpal Poonia, the association is working across India to achieve the goal of 100% first aid training coverage. The organization is preparing ordinary citizens through world-class emergency response training, enabling them to act effectively during critical situations.

The Role of a Bystander is Crucial at the Accident Site

Dr. Jhinjar explained that the person present at the accident site plays a more vital role than even a doctor, as their awareness, quick thinking, and resourcefulness can prevent loss of life.
He said, โ€œA well-trained individual can use available materials wisely to provide immediate relief and stabilize the injured before medical help arrives.โ€

Students Learn How to Handle Emergencies

During the session, Dr. Jhinjar provided detailed demonstrations on various first aid techniques, including:

  • Bone fracture treatment
  • Managing heavy bleeding
  • Electric shock response
  • Handling unconsciousness and trauma
  • Heart attack response and CPR
  • Treatment for snake bites and poisoning
  • Safe methods of transferring victims to medical care

The session ended with students and teachers practicing CPR on a human dummy, gaining hands-on experience in emergency care.

School Management Praises the Initiative

School manager Vikram Singh praised Dr. Jhinjarโ€™s outstanding training, saying that first aid is not just part of school education but an essential life skill.
He said, โ€œThis training prepares every student to protect not only themselves but also others during emergencies.โ€

Teachers Neeru, Geeta Rani, Sunaina Devi, Anju Rani, Reena Rani, Meenakshi, and Sukhwinder Singh were among those present during the training program.
