Guhla Cheeka:

In a decisive move to curb immoral and illegal activities, Guhla and Chika police carried out a large-scale joint operation targeting hotels and restaurants across the town. Acting under the directives of senior police officials, multiple special teams conducted simultaneous raids, leading to the detention of several suspicious individuals.

The operation was led by DSP Kuldeep Beniwal, under whose supervision teams from both police stations were deployed. The action forms part of the ongoing “Hotspot Domination” campaign, launched on the instructions of the Haryana Director General of Police (DGP) to ensure law and order and prevent criminal activities in sensitive areas.

Simultaneous Raids Across the City (Guhla Cheeka)

Police teams conducted surprise inspections at various hotels and restaurants in Guhla and Chika. During the raids, several men and women were found in suspicious circumstances and were detained for questioning. Police officials verified identities, checked records, and examined activities taking place inside the premises.

Officials stated that such coordinated operations are essential to prevent the misuse of hotels and eateries for unlawful or immoral purposes. The police also issued a strict warning to hotel and restaurant operators, directing them to comply fully with legal norms and maintain proper guest records.

Police Issue Strong Warning

Speaking on the operation, police officials made it clear that any form of immoral or illegal activity will not be tolerated. Strict legal action will be taken against those found violating the law, including business owners who allow such activities on their premises.

Authorities emphasized that the aim of the campaign is not harassment, but to create a safe, disciplined, and law-abiding environment for citizens.

Action Against Traffic Violations

Alongside the raids, police also intensified checks against drunk driving and traffic rule violations, especially in view of dense fog conditions prevailing in the region. Several vehicle owners were challaned for overspeeding, driving under the influence, and violating traffic safety norms.

Police urged motorists to drive cautiously, follow traffic rules, and avoid unnecessary travel during poor visibility conditions to prevent accidents.

Public Cooperation Sought

The police administration appealed to the general public to cooperate with law enforcement agencies. Citizens were encouraged to immediately report any suspicious activities in hotels, restaurants, or public places to the police.

Officials reiterated that public support plays a vital role in maintaining peace and preventing crime. The Hotspot Domination campaign will continue in the coming days with regular surprise inspections and strict enforcement.

Commitment to Public Safety

The police stated that such actions demonstrate their commitment to protecting public safety and upholding moral and legal standards in society. The administration assured residents that proactive measures will continue to ensure that Guhla and Chika remain safe and crime-free.
