Successful Twinning Program Held Between Government School and DAV Cheeka

Guhla Cheeka – A successful twinning program was organized on Thursday under the joint initiative of Government Senior Secondary School, Cheeka, and DAV Public School, Cheeka. The program aimed to strengthen mutual understanding, cooperation, and harmony among students by promoting the exchange of academic, cultural, and moral values.

The event brought together students from both institutions on a common platform, encouraging interaction and learning beyond classroom boundaries. Teachers and staff members actively participated to ensure the program’s smooth execution and meaningful outcomes.

Focus on Academic and Cultural Exchange

The primary objective of the twinning program was to enable students to learn from each other’s educational environments, teaching methods, and cultural backgrounds. Through this initiative, students were given the opportunity to broaden their perspectives and develop respect for diversity.

Various academic activities, group discussions, cultural performances, and interactive dialogue sessions were organized during the program. Students participated enthusiastically, showcasing teamwork, creativity, and leadership skills. These activities helped them understand the importance of collaboration and social harmony.

Students Actively Participate in Learning Activities

During the program, students from both schools engaged in interactive sessions that encouraged open communication and exchange of ideas. Group discussions allowed students to express their thoughts freely, while cultural performances highlighted India’s rich traditions and values.

Through teamwork-based activities, students learned essential life skills such as cooperation, discipline, and mutual respect. Many participants shared that interacting with students from another school helped them gain new insights and boosted their confidence.

Principal Emphasizes Holistic Development

Addressing the students on the occasion, DAV Public School Principal Sandhya Batla emphasized the importance of twinning programs in the overall development of students. She stated that such initiatives play a crucial role in shaping students into responsible and sensitive individuals.

She explained that twinning programs help students understand different work cultures, academic approaches, and social values. Exposure to diverse environments prepares them to face future challenges and contributes to their growth as better citizens.

“These programs provide students with opportunities to learn beyond textbooks. Understanding different educational environments and cultural diversity helps them become confident and responsible individuals,” she said.

Strengthening Values of Harmony and Cooperation

Teachers from both schools highlighted that the twinning program was not limited to academic learning but also focused on nurturing moral and ethical values. Students were encouraged to respect each other’s viewpoints and work collectively toward shared goals.

Such programs help bridge gaps between institutions and promote unity among students from different backgrounds. Educators believe that early exposure to collaborative learning helps students develop empathy and social responsibility.

Positive Feedback from Students

At the conclusion of the program, students shared their experiences and expressed happiness over participating in the joint initiative. Many students said they enjoyed learning new things and interacting with peers from another school.

They also expressed a desire to see more such collaborative programs in the future. According to students, the program helped them build friendships and understand the importance of cooperation and mutual respect.
