IAS DC Aparajita Reviews Wheat Procurement, Cleanliness, and Office Work in Anaj Mandi Cheeka
Guhla-Cheeka, April 1 — IAS DC Aparajita conducted a field visit to Anaj Mandi Cheeka, the SDM office, and the Tehsil office, issuing detailed directions to ensure smooth wheat procurement, hygiene, and efficient public service delivery. SDM Captain Pramesh Singh and other officials accompanied the inspection.

Focus on Transparent Wheat Procurement
At the Market Committee office, the DC reviewed ongoing wheat purchase arrangements. She inspected the CCTV control room and computer room, then checked food quality and hygiene at the Atal Canteen, directing staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
In the e-procurement room, she sought a detailed briefing on the e-Kharid process and personally verified farmers’ biometric entries on the system. Clear instructions were issued to ensure farmers face no inconvenience and that procurement follows rules with full transparency. Market Committee Secretary Satbir Rawish briefed her on staff deployment and workflow.
Roads, Sanitation, and Basic Facilities
During the mandi round, the DC expressed displeasure over damaged internal roads and instructed Marketing Board officials over the phone to expedite repairs. She ordered regular sanitation, no garbage accumulation, and proper functioning of CCTV cameras, toilets, drinking water, and electricity. The SDM was directed to keep continuous watch over mandis and purchase centers.
Inspection of SDM Office Cheeka
At the SDM office, she reviewed the driving licence branch, courtroom, diary register, and accounts section. She asked for updates on pending court cases, timely diary entries, and swift disposal of complaints on the CM Window. The record room was checked, with directions to keep documents well-arranged and the premises clean.
Surprise Check at Tehsil Office
During a surprise visit to the Tehsil office, the DC ordered improved cleanliness and fresh painting of the building. She interacted with visitors to understand their issues and reviewed work related to court cases, demarcation, registrations, wills, audit paras, staff data, consolidation records, musavi maps, and settlement matters. Suresh Kumar was instructed to clear pending cases promptly and ensure time-bound grievance redressal.
Other officials present included Market Committee Secretary Satbir Rawish and staff from concerned departments.
