Police to Continue Action Against Such Vehicles: SP Kaithal

Kaithal, March 21 – As per the instructions of SP Rajesh Kalia, Kaithal police have launched a special drive against illegally modified vehicles with DJs. The police spokesperson stated that on Friday, the traffic police team, led by SHO SI Rajkumar, intercepted a jugaad vehicle with a DJ system near Karnal Road, Kaithal. Upon questioning, the driver failed to produce any valid documents. Consequently, the police imposed a fine of ₹33,000 and impounded the vehicle.

The spokesperson emphasized that vehicle modifications violating traffic laws pose safety risks and can lead to road accidents. The Kaithal police will continue taking strict action against such violations. SP Rajesh Kalia urged the public to follow traffic rules, stressing that the police aim to prevent accidents and protect lives rather than just issuing fines. He called on citizens to act responsibly and support road safety initiatives.
