Guhla-Cheeka, February 18, 2026 – The St John Ambulance International Association India continues to strengthen public health safety through life-saving skill development programs across the country. After returning from Australia, the Association’s International Spokesperson and Gold Medalist Dr Raja Singh Jhinjar was accorded a warm welcome in Guhla-Cheeka.

Dr Punia congratulated Dr Raja Singh Jhinjar for successfully signing Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with various institutions in Australia. He described Dr Jhinjar as a shining example of sincere dedication and exceptional talent.
During his visit to Australia, Dr Jhinjar received appreciation certificates and mementos for excellence in First Aid and CPR training, thereby bringing pride to both the Association and the country.

Dr Rajpal Punia informed that under the Government of India’s Nation Paramount Mission 2030, large-scale appointments of First Aid Educators are being made at national, state, district, and block levels. Additionally, plans are underway to appoint First Aid Volunteer-cum-Sarathi in every village to strengthen grassroots health preparedness.
He stressed that in today’s era of globalization, it is essential to move forward with a broader vision of social security, cooperation, and justice-oriented values.

On this occasion, CEO Dr Ramniwas stated that the Association’s mission is to safeguard citizens from accidental injuries and natural disasters by providing world-class, accessible health and safety training.
He added that structured First Aid training programs will not only enhance public health security but will also create employment opportunities in the health and emergency response sector. According to him, skill-based certification programs can become a milestone in generating self-employment and professional growth for youth.
