Anti-Vehicle Theft Staff Arrest Two in Electronics Shop Theft Case
Kaithal, February 27 – In a breakthrough in an electronics shop burglary case, the Anti-Vehicle Theft Staff of Kaithal Police arrested two accused and recovered stolen items, including LED panels and an aluminium door.
The arrests were made under the directions of Superintendent of Police Upasna, as part of the district police’s ongoing crackdown on property crimes.
Shop Broken Into During Night
According to the police spokesperson, Rinku, a resident of Village Saghan, lodged a complaint stating that he owns an electronics shop in Sadar Bazar, Kaithal. On January 22, he closed the shop and returned home as usual.
However, the next morning, upon reopening the shop, he discovered that the door of the storage room located above the shop had been broken. Additionally, the door of an adjoining office belonging to Mahavir, a resident of Village Attela, was also found damaged.
LED Panels and Office Items Stolen
Upon inspection, Rinku found that eight LED panels, one box of LED cards, and an aluminium door had been stolen from his store.
Meanwhile, from Mahavir’s office, approximately ₹500 in cash kept in a temple box, two bank passbooks, a cheque book, and certain property-related documents were reported missing.
Following the complaint, a case was registered at the City Police Station, Kaithal.

Accused Arrested After Investigation
The investigation was assigned to the Anti-Vehicle Theft Staff under the leadership of SI Pradeep Kumar. Acting on specific inputs, the police team apprehended two accused — Aman and Prince, residents of Shakti Nagar, Kaithal — from Chandana Road, Kaithal.
Stolen Property Recovered
During interrogation and search, the police recovered seven stolen LED panels and the aluminium door in broken condition from the possession of the accused.
Police officials stated that accused Aman already has multiple theft cases registered against him, indicating a history of involvement in similar crimes.
Accused Sent to Judicial Custody
After completing the necessary legal formalities, both accused were produced before the court and sent to judicial custody as per court orders.
Police Continue Crackdown on Property Crimes
Kaithal Police reiterated their commitment to maintaining law and order and taking strict action against individuals involved in theft and burglary cases. Special teams have been actively working to solve pending cases and recover stolen property.
Authorities have also urged shopkeepers and business owners to install CCTV cameras and strengthen security arrangements to prevent such incidents.
