According to the police spokesperson, the CIA-1 team led by ASI Kamaljeet was on night patrol in the Siwan area. During the patrol, the police received confidential information. It stated that a man named Monu Kumar, a resident of Sirta village, was engaged in selling narcotic substances nearby.

He was expected to travel to Cheeka by bike that very evening. Acting swiftly, the police set up a checkpoint and began monitoring passing vehicles carefully.

Shortly after, a man on a motorcycle appeared. The police signaled him to stop and successfully apprehended him along with his bike. He was identified as Monu Kumar from Sirta village.

Upon receiving information, DSP Guhla Kuldeep Beniwal and Naib Tehsildar Guhla Bansilal Bangar arrived at the scene. They supervised the legal procedure.

During the investigation, a plastic sack containing 30.220 kilograms of chura post was discovered in Monu’s possession. A case was immediately registered at the Siwan police station.

The police team intercepted and detained the rider, who was identified as Salinder Singh of Mundri village.

Naib Tehsildar Kaithal, Joginder Dhankhar, arrived at the spot and conducted a formal search in accordance with the rules. During the search, 5.33 grams of heroin (commonly known as chitta) was found hidden in a polythene bag.

Following this discovery, a case was registered at the Sadar police station. Further investigation and legal proceedings are currently underway.
